Convert PDF to PNG

PNG keeps text and thin lines sharp, which suits slides, charts and forms. Files are larger than JPG, so switch format if you need something small.

Using pages in slides and documents

For a slide or report, 150 DPI is usually enough. Use 300 DPI if the page will be enlarged or printed. Pages get a white background, so they look right on any slide colour.

Frequently asked questions

Is my file uploaded?

No. Everything runs inside your browser, on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, so private documents stay private.

JPG or PNG?

JPG gives smaller files and suits photos and scans. PNG keeps text and lines sharper but makes larger files. Forms usually ask for JPG.

Which DPI should I choose?

150 DPI suits screens and most uploads. Choose 300 DPI for printing or small text. Higher DPI means larger images and larger files. Very large pages are capped at 4000 pixels on the long side, and the result says so.

Why won't my PDF open?

A password-protected PDF can't be read here, so remove the password first. A damaged file can't be read either, so try downloading it again.
